How about, “What’s the worst ‘best’ book you’ve ever read — the one everyone says is so great, but you can’t figure out why?”

The one that comes to my head is We Need To Talk About Kevin. I remember everyone raving about it so I went out and bought it. Ugh. It took me 3.5 weeks to read it and I can usually finish 2 books in a week. I would choose to watch tv and do anything else then to pick that book up. I ended up finishing it because I thought I was missing something. This book made me change my rule about finishing books that I am just not into. It also made me go get a library card.
