The third book in the Hunger Games series has been announced and shown. OMG. I love the name and the cover. How am I going to wait till August??????

Hunger Games/Catching Fire- Suzanne Collins

I am doing one post for both of these books. They are the first 2 books in a series. They are such great books.

These books are about future America. There are 12 districts and a Capitol. The children are entered into a reality show type game that is a game to the death. The books follow Katniss and her family as well as her friends and district.

These books really make you think. Katniss is the perfect character to have tell the story. The relationships in this book are meaningful and deep. Watching Katniss be strong and grow and cry in this book was my favorite.

Cathching Fire starts a few months after Hunger Games ends and just continues the wonderful story. Lots of twists and turns.

I recommend these books to everyone and can't wait for the third one.
